Yeah, nah, it's still the same Jap version. All I did so far was run OCR on it so the text is actually embedded in the PDF. The original is just a set of images.

What did you use to try and translate it?

It certainly doesn't help that it is 3000 pages as it rules out doing anything by hand. And from what I have seen so far software doesn't cope well with it either.

I was using the translator in Word.  In order to make it work I have had to start breaking it up into 50 page lots and running it through the translator that way so it can cope.  

Is there any good free translation software that works well?

Hi, I was amazed this thread was still being tended to. I did join this forum perhaps 5 years ago, but have no idea the password, username or email.. so have made another one. Been looking through the site again looking for insights into the various issues that crop up with the M35. And followed this thread through to here.

Thank you for this, would you by anychance have the English copy as well? Can sorta read it but would be alot easier if it was English aye

It would be much easier that way, but I'm not aware of anyone having gone through the trouble of translating it to english for us.

Realistically, an English translation hasn't happened in >25 years, but luckily you don't usually need to translate the whole billion page manual. I've used this tool before:

The manual has enough English headings and words to get to the section you need, then the OCR tool can help you decipher the remaining info on the page.

@r33_racer this looks pretty solid, did you ever end up smashing the whole document through to translate ???

ild be interested to see what the LLM (AI model things are like these days), anyone manage to do the whole document ????
