Crunching/chewing Dash Noises

Hi fellow enthusiasts,

My 1994 R33 GTST on start up is making a bloody weird crunching noise (lasting about 10 seconds then stops), like someone eating keatle chips under the dash, near the clock. I tried starting with the climate control panel off, pointless. Has anyone else experienced this? Before I pull my dash off to investigate.

try turn off the climate control next time as i have heard of air con fans rubbing on the housing when cornering hard etc prob due to worn bushes in the motor

Mine makes that noise too.

Mine does that too, but only when it's in dash vents only mode. Try pressing the mode button to change the vent configuration (mine stops when I have dash and footwell vents open), wait for it to stop clicking, then stop the car and restart to see if it stops.
