I'm going to have a look at an R34 coming over from Japan soon.

It is supposed to be a genuine M-Spec Nur, only 253 made.

What should I look for to ID it.

What do ripple control dampers look like ?

How do I tell an N1 engine from standard ?

Where would I find a registry with chassis numbers etc matching it's build number?

Any other ideas?

cheers.

many thanks can change on a M spec Nur. (and to be honest i dont know why they really command such a premium over a v or non v)

however if you get the chassis details, run it through Nissan FAST, and that will tell you the production date etc.

many items can be swapped, (inteirors etc), diffusers, engine covers

running it throu FAST is your only way to be sure :)

NISSAN VIN FAST under General Automotive as stated ^^^

Premium $? Made for older guys like me...

i) heated seats - reduce likelihood of incontinence

ii) ripple damper suspension - prostate discomfort minimised

iii) leather interior - facilitates aged arthritic bodies getting in or out

iv) gold stitching on gear knob and steering wheel - for ease of finding in the dark

v) aluminium (rather than C/F) bonnet - easier to repair after elderly missus drags groceries across the front of it

Even better, if you can get the VIN off the car and was bought through the auctions, we can tell how many kms, any previous damage and selling price.

Here's some that was sold recently.
