Went to look at a 92 skyline today with a stock RB20DE in it. Didn't realize til now that the cluster had a stock boost gauge like the one

from my GTS-T.

I'm wondering if this comes stock or if it's an obvious cluster swap to make the KM appear lower.

All help is greatly appreciated.

either had the cluster put in, or less likely, it was a turbo car and has had a non turbo engine put in it to possibly try and get around P plate laws, or simply was the cheapest option after having blown the engine.

never really worth paying attention to the kms on an import anyway as most of them had the kms wound back before they left japan.

Well on the tag under the hood with the vin+engine on it it says RB20DE so I don't think it was turbo before. So this cluster was for sure swapped from a turbo skyline? The engine sounds good, the car has some surface rust on it but I'm more concerned that this engine has 200,xxxkm+ and is gonna blow up soon.

oh right, never mind then. in australia some states have laws restricting what cars you can drive on your provisional licence (licence you have for the first 3 years after getting off your learners licence). similar to canada's G1 or G2 licence
