R32 Gtr Rear Speakers Not Working

just put a new headunit in my r32 gtr and the rear speakers arnt working, front work fine.

do the rear ones run off tthe factory amp??? if so is there a seperate power source for it that needs to be run off the new head unit???

before anyone asks, yes all the speaker wires are correct ive checked them a million times.

yes they are amplified. the unit is in the boot (round item with clarion writtten on it.) best to bypass the thing. new wiring to the rear is easiest to do.

Definitely bypass it as the "active speaker" system was only really meant to be used with the factory tape deck.

its all good now. found the problem. after seeing how much everyone doesnt like the stock amp i pulled the car apart and followed the wires and turns out the last owner had already bypassed the amp and ran new wires but didnt remove the old ones.
