R32 - High Pitch Harmonic Noise At Idle

hey guys my rb20 is making a high pitch humming noise at idle and it seem to pulse in and out and it sounds like its getting worse, it definietly sounds like its coming from the front of the engine.

the only thing i can think of is maybe one of the belts is to tight?

any help is much appreciated.

stop driving it and check the harmonic balancer bolt. i was too late and have stripped keyway on crank motor time!

so it could be loose? or maybe the belt is to tight on it?

Probably belt tension, it comes and go after you rev it up isn't it? too loose or too tight will make noise.

Keep in mind that belts do stretch over time and when they do, sometimes they make that kind of noise.
