Help R32gtst Water Temp Gauge Doesnt Work Along With Rev Taco,,earth Problem?

hey guys i just brought an r32 gtst my current water temp gauge and my rev taco doesnt work i have changed the cluster and the water temp sender and stil nothin on the water temp gauge, i am starting to think the previous owner has left and off cause i have also noticed wen i indicate left instead of the indercator arrow flasshinbg in the cluster the hicas light flashes AS the indercator wen i indercate right the correct arrow on the cluster flashes :s also my battery light is constantly on and wen i turn hi beams on the battery lights turns off ..... so anye ideas on what earth could effect the cluster
