Genuine R34 Gtr V-spec 2 Aluminium Pedal Group Buy!

Recommended Posts

For the price of the ones on ebay I would hit up Kudos as they are currently selling them as well for around the same price as the ebay link.

They are a sponser here but I am unsure if I can post a direct link or not but here it is.

id love a second group buy it seems like a really good deal ... worried about the reliability of this dude though, may just get it from Kudos unless anybody in the group buy decided to sell theirs after such a long wait ... :D?

LOL second GB.. delivery date Dec 2018

Bahahahahahaha yeah pretty much.

Unfortunately I won't be doing a second run on these as I'm sure you can all understand. So not worth the headaches.

On a more positive note the tracking number says they are in the air on their way, WOHOO!

Still finding out what the hell is happening with the footrests leaving Japan. I'll email him now.

By the way, these are the correct part numbers:

1. Foot Rest Panel - 67845-AB000

2. Clutch pedal - 46531-AB000

3. Brake Pedal - 46531-AB000

4 Bush - 18014-AB001

5 Bush - 18014-AB000

6 Accel pedal - 18016-AB000

I just ordered a set from Nissan parts in Japan - they advised ETA 20th May,now lets see who gets their quicker, although you guys have an unfair head start ;)

Place your bets anyone?

Rehab how much did it cost you if you dont mind me asking?

Still don't know myself - depends on how much the shipping will be - when I get them in my car I'll post a pic and a total cost.

Like I said. This group buy wasn't about obtaining the pedals. Any one can do that through Nissan, Kudos motorsports, Ebay etc.

It was about getting them a lot cheaper. Ie not paying $250-$300 delivered.

WOHOOOO!!

Finally some good news! The accelerator pedals and bushes arrived today. They got sent in a seperate box than the clutch and brake pedals so they should rock up soon aswell. Still waiting on an update with the footrests from Japan.

It's gonna be a tight race who will receive theirs first - my full complement of parts arrived to my shipping agents place in Japan today, and will be sent hopefully this week.

SMALL UPDATE

Brake and clutch pedals should be here this week some time (hopefully).

They have gotten in contact with another supplier in Japan to get the footrest pedals because obviously the one we have been waiting for is hopeless. They have got together 5 footrest pedals and just waiting for the rest. The rest won't be available from Nissan until 10th June though (don't ask me why because I have no idea).

well, 2 week wait is pretty usual if they are buying through Nissan Japan. My order also took 2 weeks to process.

PS: my complete set of parts have all been sent on saturday, hope to have them here by the end of the week, but probably next week. I do hope it includes footrest, otherwise I'll LOL. Its like a damed unobtanium this footrest part, damn.

    • Hey @Butters, did you end up getting this clutch in ? I have just ordered to a uniclutch track to go in my getrag 6 speed that’s in my BNR 32
    • I know you don't want to hear this comment, but I can't not say it.  I just can't see 200kw being worth the time and effort. Its like guys with NA cars, putting in headers/exhaust/tune for a massive 20% jump in power. Great, the slow car is still slow and you're down $10,000.  My vote is leave it NA or price in a gearbox upgrade and shoot for at least 300KW, preferably 350KW+.  Now you have a NC that will try to kill you from time to time and will be exciting to drive
    • Ah yep. The main message I want to pass on is, try not to get scared of ghosts when thinking about knock/knock detection.  What I mean is, healthy engines make noise. Knock is also noise. Your knock sensor and ECU combo are trying to determine bad noise from good noise based on how loud the noise is. The factory knock sensors and ECU are not good at doing this.  Modern ECU's are pretty decent at it, however I'd still say that you would want to verify that if your ECU says it's knock, that you actually listen to it and confirm that it is correct.  Are you familiar with the plex knock monitor?  https://www.plex-tuning.com/products/plex-knock-monitor-v3/ I expect you're the type of person that would be very keen to play with something like this. It is great knock detection and you can pop some headphones on and listen to what's going on.  Knock that you've deliberately induced in low load low RPM areas is not really putting anything at risk and is a great tuning/learning/verification tool.  I just thought this was worth mentioning based on the way you were talking about setting up a base map and the Haltech base map settings. There are better ways to spend your time then chasing ghosts and worrying about detonation in scenarios that it is crazy unlikely to encounter it.  I was also wondering, what ECU are you planning to get? Will it be long til you pick it up?
    • This came quicker than I thought. It ain't even 2025 yet.
    • I somehow quoted my post instead of editing it. I regret nothing.
