Genuine R34 Gtr V-spec 2 Aluminium Pedal Group Buy!

Recommended Posts

Yeah it's been Z1 Performance the whole time. However the footrests are ment to be getting sent straight from Japan from Nissan to save time. We have everything other than the footrests.

I emailed him again.

He replied:

I wish I had the info, he promised me an email with tracking and so far, I’ve contacted him every day since last Saturday without a reply yet.

well atleast they are still in communication at some level.

Im thinking we should be hitting them up for either a discount or freebie to make up for the long wait.

Its sounding like its out of their control but still they made the sale which makes them accountable for the problems.

I had mentioned reimbursement of some sort before but he never replied to it. At this stage I just want the last of the pedals sent so this can be over.

Hello Adam

Can you send me the email address or phone number of the guy in Japan that has my pedals. I'm sick and tired of waiting close to one year! This is an absolute joke.

I have no idea why it is such a big ordeal to order a few damn pedals and I want to speak to the guy in Japan to get an explanation as to why he is so hopeless at putting some pedals into a box and sending them.

Phil

If you would rather we just do a refund for the dead pedals, we can do that – I’m tired of it too and in retrospect, we’re done with these special orders, as it’s been far too much work required this past year.

Adam

Z1 Performance

Hey Adam

To be honest I would much rather the pedals as now we don't have a complete set. I know this would piss every one off more so than waiting a little longer.

I just don't understand why they havn't sent them yet? What on earth could they possibly be waiting on?

Is there anything I can do from my end? Email some one or something?

Phil

This is ridicolous. What the f**k are we ment to do. Why is this such a bloody hard thing to do, I don't get it!

Maybe someone can take a footrest to someone who can copy it onto a piece of aluminium and we get a refund on the footrests?

Well Adam shouldnt of issued an invoice and accepted payment for product that he doesnt have or isnt 100% sure he can have supplied.

So we can either get a refund (Z1 Performance should imo do something rather nice for us to keep respect & business) and get the footrests fabbed up, since its only a flat piece of aluminium isnt it?

or Adam from Z1 Performance can pull his finger out and do what needs to be done and chase this up pronto.

Im in two worlds on what the resolution is, vote perhaps???

I've waited this long so I don't mind waiting a bit longer given that in reality all we are waiting on is for some wanker to put the last pedals into a box and send them! What the hell is so hard about that?

But yes very dissapointed at Z1 Performance. If they didn't think they could do it just say so. Not act like it is no problem what so ever to get the pedals and then spend one year getting them all together. I mean FFS if I had known this would have happened I would never have bothered with it at all.

I'm happy if they get some made up the same but i'm not real keen on getting half the set and no footrest piece.

Yeah exactly I don't think any one would. Would make the whole exercise worthless.

I'm going to email him again. I want the email address of the guy in Japan. If he can't speak english maybe I can get some one that speaks Japanese to email him.

It's funny because when you google Z1 Performance every one on other forums goes on about their great customer service. So what the hell is the problem with our order?!

Adam

Just give me the email address of the guy in Japan that has the footrests. I will sort it out with him. I will get one of the guys that speaks/writes Japanese to clearly write to him.

I mean from everything you have told me, the footrests are in Japan, have been paid for and simply need to be put into a box and mailed to me. I really don't understand what the actual hold up is???

Let me deal with it so you don't have to any more.

The absolute worse case scenario I will get the refund but this is not something we want to do. We want to get the complete set of footrests as was agreed upon.

Please let me know as soon as you can so we can finally put an end to this ordeal.

Thanks

Phil

Unfortunately we can't reveal who our suppliers are

I've got one more option of anothe source that I have reached out to. Thankfully these pedals aren't a lot so if I lose the $ to the original group it's not the end of the world. I just want it wrapped up

Give me a fucking break!!

lol well there is not much I can really do but put up with it :P

Luckily we aren't talking huge money here, it's more just about the principal of the damn thing. Don't tell a customer you can get something if you can't!

    • I believe mine is helical and not clutch type. During drifting one wheel was spining as if it was open diff so bought kazz 1.5 way and has sat on my shelf for the past 5 years as I want to learn shiming process and do it myself   in meantime thought I change the diff oil hence post here. So any 75-90?   i am pretty sure r34 are helical not clutch lsd as standard . That is gtt ones
    • Throw between gears are so much that is getting annoying. I have pro short shifter on my mx5 and e36 and love it . Skyline is getting unbearable    would syncro issues and short shifter is no no? Anyone mind explaining a little on why before i buy cube
    • No. Well, some people "seem to use redline shockproof in the diff". Most do not. I would only contemplate it if you have badly worn CW&P gears. And no. No-one in their right mind has ever put ATF into a diff. Any normal diff/gear oil of the right viscosity will do. Whatever takes your fancy. Castrol, Nulon, Penrite, Redline MT range. Whatever. It's just gears. 75W-90 or 80W-90 is typical. I think that GL-5 is hard to avoid these days, although I think that a GL-4 is probably preferred, given the vintage of the equipment. At least Redline offer a number of GL-4 oils. If you have a clutch type LSD instead of the VLSD, then of course you need a proper LSD oil. Anything from any of the same names above. If you have a helical LSD, then it does not require LSD oil, and the recco is the same as for the VLSD. You don't want the LSD friction modifiers in the oil for a non-clutch type LSD if you can avoid it.
    • You may want to list it up for a little higher - This price is much lower than you may realize. Here you're pretty much selling to people who most likely already have these things on their own rigs. S chassis people eat this stuff up like you'd not believe.
    • I had my car for over 10 years and done around few thousand miles but never changed the oil. thinking of changing it.   what brand and viscocity would you put in ? people seem to use redline shockproof in the diff   on  contraty seen others using atf dexron 2 or 3 so wanted to check. is it 1 liter?
