Major Flat Spot Problem!

Hey all,

a bit of info, My r33 gtst S1 have a major flat spot, Before i blew my first motor I would take off and give it a squirt bbut between 2700 ~ 3500rpm it would come to a major flat spot , the turbo would still be spooling but the car wouldnt go anywhere in a hurry but it would come good after 3500 rpm. Now my new motor is doing the same, i advanced the cam angle sensor and it has 90% fixed the problem.

-What else could be causing the problem? (Has new coil packs and spark plugs and ignitor module)

-With the cam angle sensor advanced will it do any damage??

Dunno, lot of pple have this issue fixed with a aftermarket ECU and tune - I have the same issue on my 34, except its from 4800-5400rpm ish, then after that it pulls like a train to redline...get a Nistune and tune.. which is what I will do..

am i doing any damage by having my cam angle sensor way advanced?

if you have advanced it without using a timing light to see what it is set at and don't know if it's pinging, then yes and you are headed for a second blown engine.
