Hmm...got banned from a Veloster Turbo forum for being a "troll"...apparently if I shatter their dreams and tell them that their tuned 160kw atw cars will not beat a Commo VF SS its "trolling"...ignorance is bliss I guess.

Guy's just a random question - I'm wandering out of interest how much were the stags when originally released(in AU$ Roughly). I've got an S2 1999 WGNC34.

A 25t RS Four V was 3.26M Yen when sold new, so probably around the $40K Aus mark in '99. Chepaer than a VTII Commodore SS.

The only cure for that is to buy another one and do all those things to it that you said you'd do differently if you had your time over again.

/experience

ha!

my S1 C34 was 255kw low boost ;)

did everything I wanted.

Ha, if I did it again I'd grab a 26tt Autech and adapt an auto ;)

Studies finished a few weeks ago, started a casual job but am actually in line to get a great gig as a cardiac & vascular radiographer, ie specialize in Angiography

Been getting by under the radar, only ever a few $ away from living under a bridge, so hopefully a new start on the horizon....

I didn't know whether to post this here or in 'What Did You Do To Your Stagea Today?' But here goes...

Today I dropped an unwrapped Mars Bar on the floor while I was reaching for a slice of pizza from the box on the passenger's seat, and it went right under the seat.

Luckily, I didn't drop the pizza slice, and was able to transfer it to my right hand. But I couldn't reach far enough under the passenger seat to find the Mars Bar while steering and holding pizza with one hand. I think the Mars Bar probably melted.

It could have been a disaster, but fortunately I keep a spare Mars Bar in that little vertical cubby to the right of the centre console, between the boost controller unit and the lighter socket where the car-jug plugs in.

I only mention this to illustrate how important careful food management is to the safe operation of our performance vehicles.

Last time I was in Scotland I asked at the local chippie (chip-shop) for a slice of pizza and she took a slice off a stack and dropped it into the deep fryer with the chips and the cod.

No wonder Scots have the highest heart attack rates in Europe.

Wis' ye could replace arteries wi' braided lines.

nm35 questions

how much is the diameter of the lower end of the front shock absorber?

how long is the shock absorber with the spring?

the length of the rear shock absorber is? what about the rear spring diameter and length

Spring rate of stock springs?

Keep looking for a Nismo S-tune kit.

stock suspension is way too soft for a 1600kg wagon, even worse once you fit sway bars

S-tune is 20% stiffer, awesome mod.

If you search it at RHD Japan, all the specs are there, you could easily calculate close approximates for stock rates

more info

I'msure people have asked this before but I don't know if anyone has answeredit yet.

The M35 is available from factory with an LSD, at least in PNM35 form. For original specs go to...

...and g33k out. C34 and M35 are both in there.

    • I wouldn't be concerned at all, other than to suggest having them flow tested when you receive them to confirm they are reasonably similar, and then put the highest to lowest flowing ones in cylinder 6,1,5,2,4,3
    • I’m only posting this cause I thought I had seen a bad review on these somewhere before. Any feedback? Would you guys recommend that if I do buy these I send em to RC to have em checked before installing. Or any other suggestions?   https://www.ebay.com/itm/114009965865?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JDl-15yLQ8C&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=QTzlFXB1S-S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
    • They see me rollin' they hatin'....... Took me most of the day to make the necessary mods to the mounts to make them fit the car.  Fortunately I was able to just use the mounts that came with the rotisserie. The rear ones are really secure, the front I feel i might reinforce a bit more as it doesn't seem like enough attachment to the vehicle. I'm sure it's fine but better to be safe than (extremely...) sorry.  I drilled and tapped thread into additional M12 holes to each car mount where it attaches to the rotisserie as an extra fail-safe. Without them the side to side movement is just restricted by the allen head pinch bolts, nothing actually goes though the beam. Does now! I still need to adjust the rotisserie to get the car centred in terms of centre of gravity. If it's too high or too low relative to the rotational centre line of the car, it will be like a turtle and roll onto its back or as it currently sits, I dont think I'd be able to rotate it as it sits as it needs to lift the whole car up as it rotates. Ain't happening... I'm going to be nervous as hell the first time I go to spin it on its side...
    • Oh yes done this when the window started flopping around.  Turns out the guides that run along the rail chanel had crumbed way. Took off the door card and pulled out the window mech, then the window, which you have to pull out through the top. As said unbolt the guide rail and don't spend 30 minutes getting frustrated trying to find a way to slide it out upwards cause that don't frigging work. Drop it down and out through the door hole. All I did to repair it was slice some 10mm clear plastic tube, vertically, then screw it to the guide rail both sides. This tubing rolls inward on both sides and leaves a gap wide enough to hold the window. To finish all I did was lube the plastic tube with olive oil and Bob's your uncle . . . well if he has the operation he can be your Aunt ! !  10 bucks in plastic tube and another 5 minute job done again . . . . YEH BULLSH#T ! My love for Skylines knows no bounds !
    • So was there a solution to this problem? I’m having this issue now.
