lol im pretty sure the genuine bugeye STI WRX that did a run has a semi forged bottom end and all this extra crap and still only pulled 130 at the wheels.

hands down out of a WRC class I would be going an evo.

bang for buck! if you like the go kart feel.

lol mine feels like a trolley than a go kart. Scott knows what I mean :P

Yeah I like evos...exxxy though...

STI's come with forged internals anyway...its not like it cost him extra....but 130awkw? wtf...

Haven't really driven any of those little 4 doors. I had a quick blat in a 22B, but not long enough to tell anything about them except LAGGGGGG. Oh, and a GT3037 Evo, but same thing, punched the throttle and got to 3500 and still nothing before I ran outta space.

But really, they are a tool for going quick (targa/track) especially the Evo. They don't "feel" the same as a Nissan or Mazda. They come from more economical backgrounds- shopping trolley stock. If you are dead set serious about motorsport, then I'd get an evo. But if its a daily, or combined duties car, then you can't beat what you got. Plus all the other owners are just so cool.

A guy had built his motor using all cosworth forged parts. Supposedly cost him over $30,000.00 just for the motor.

He was 'thrashing the f**k out of it' on the way to the dyno. Cihan ran it on the dyno and after about 3500rpm the AFR shot up to about 16 or 17 before cihan took his foot off.

Would not have been a pretty sight to see that thing blow up

lol, turbo won't be for a while. Want to get the other stuff sorted first.

Like supercharger? :P

Sounds good mate. Look forward to seeing pics when it's in your ownership, and progress on your plans!
