Hi all,

A few of you will be aware I have been troubleshooting a loss in power and an increase in lag. I used my custom made boost leak to identify a boost leak at the outlet of my trust return flow intercooler.

I tried replacing the hose and clamps and still keeps leaking.

I pulled it all apart and the intercooler has a crack in the outlet end tank and a chip missing from where it connects to the piping.

Can this be repaired? Is there anywhere in Melbourne people would recommend to fix this?

Any help much appreciated!

I know some one who can weld it for cheap. SMSed to your phone

Its looks like an end less leak hunt with new leaks discovered every couple of days. I think even the 279rwkws you've made was with leaks every where.

bugger thats been repaired once too... any radiator shop could fix it or drop it past tao.

Yeah it is been repaired at least once before! I am a little worried that it may do this again.

What other options do I have? Could I get a new end tank welded on?

What other return flow intercoolers are there on the market? I am just worried that if the inlet and outlets are in different locations I will also have to modify the piping!

GRRRR! This is the only second hand item I have purchased for my build and its hurting me already.

If you get someone thats really good at welding it up it shouldnt break, it all depends on how good the welder is.

+1

if only you saw how many welds are holding mine together :)

Ok that's good to hear, thanks fellers!

Trent its a trust return flow intercooler which I can't seem to find anywhere. If it was a jjr one I would just buy another one. The piping had to be modified to fit so I would have to get the piping modified again.
