Can anyone recommend where I could bits of my engine painted? And roughly how much it would cost?

Simon @ sst has a mate who does it. Whilst my engine is in pieces I am getting the rocker cover and cam cover painted up.

On a 26 Rossco charges $300 odd remember thats including a large plenum. If you want a example look at Ant ND4SPD's engine

I did my engine by myself. Came out alright I guess. I'm happy with it though.

Just remove the cam covers etc (depending on what you want to paint), strip the paint off, sand it back so its smooth, prime then paint. There's an automotive spray shop in Balcatta who basically get whatever colour you want, mix it and put it into a spray can for you. Then after you paint just cover it with clear. All up painting my engine was around $30 and an afternoons work.

Just make sure the paint is acryllic otherwise it will more than likely melt because of the heat.
