Best Head Gasket For My Forged Rb25

Guys currently in the process of building up my rb25 vl calais. what would be the best gasket to suit my build (thickness and brand) , i got 20thou over arias pistons and rods and also arp head studs. is the thickness just personal preference or is it more significant than that. any other info will be supplied if needed. thanks.

I think most use stock b/c people would rather the gasket blow than messing up internals...

either a genuine nissan item would great made plenty of power with them or an acl gasket

Greater thickness than 1.2-1.3mm is to drop compression. 1.5mm gaskets drop compression. Multilayer steel would go with your build. ACL seem reasonably priced, however in "Premium"gaskets there appears to be satisfaction with Cometic. Tomei and other gaskets seem pricey. If you've bored 20 thou convention is to use a 87mm gasket.

+1 Nothing wrong with a new OE gasket.

How much power you going for mate?

I used a Cometic 1.2mm in my 25.

27psi and over 400rwkw.
