Just looking at a GB link over wireless, operating between the 7GB and 8GB range so no wardriving for me to worry about.

Just got to lease it from a licenced carrier, just so happens I know of one just waiting on approval to spend HUGE amounts of money to get a temporary link up

great stuff too, PoE too so just plug it into network, install on mast point it roughly in the right direction and WHAMMO, instant network connection, $33,000 to buy one unit, and of course you need 2, I am glad we can lease them

Yeah have you seen what 3G is capable of? 256kbps preety neat stuff, you can drive with your laptop vpn'd into your network all the way up and down the pacific motorway, albeit slow but still, a small taste of things to come
