I haven't actually had a Dyno test since it was stock, but I am like Pred it is in desperate need of a GOOD tune, so I will take what it pumps out with a grain of salt methinks.

They put your car on a roller, most of them are built into the ground, others are above ground. But on the rollers they get the car into 4th and plant it basically and it gives you a power figure...

I was soo nervous the first time my car went on one, I was shaking severly and everyone could see it. I wasn't worried about the power output, more the fact of things blowing up. But Sinbad was very good and didn't break anything

Don't forget they usually strap your car down, so it doesn't decide to go any where of it's own accord

Because your maximum torque range is not at the end of fifth gear and 4th is the closest to a 1:1 ratio

4th is closest to a 1:1 drive radio, depending on the gearbox

You start as per normal and work your way up the gears as per normal until you reach 4th

Mindflux, they use forth because it's 1:1 ratio..

Driving on the rollers is just like driving on the road. The rollers move as fast as your tyres so it's just like driving normally, but not moving anywhere...

ahh so they red line each gear up to redline 4th?

Nooo..

They just change normally until the car is rolling in 4th, then they WOT 4th and let it rev to either the redline or what ever rpm you've told them to.
