don't worry JL .. GTR are good for 300rwkw, a mid-12sec 1/4 and plenty of punishment before snapping. Although the transfer case can be an issue after that. Seen one of them snap..  

But generally they are build like rocks, unlike some other manufacturer vehicles (just stirring stuntgirl)

Thats what I am hoping for. I have never really broken anything on a car before. The biggest thing I have broken was the diff in the Gemini and it already had 420 000ks on it! Besides, I won't be going near those types of power outputs for a long time, if ever. More worried with suspension (sussed), braking (sussed). cooling and oil supply. I am sure the clutch will need doing somewhere along the way though. I want it to be bulletproof.
