Nope, he was too busy...

Havnt really driven it so I will take it in next week hopefully...

I had a mate come over he thinks its a combination of black thin oil... very slipping clutch... and sparkplugs a bit fouled...

Also confirmed th sound was coming from the idle pulley which isnt a prob...

Will get it compression tested at gav's to see if there is any probs with the engine etc

mj: yup, autos are definitely different. I took the R31 out last night, and while it was slow, the auto made a bit of a difference.

Just being able to plant it off the line and it goes is a whole different thing.

the plastic pipe was installed by the previous owner. Looks a bit scrappy, but held to the FMIC piping via a zip tie and cloth tape -- classy i know.

As we were saying the other day, bunnings could be a good place to get it. They have like plastic garden irrigation piping, which is about the right size, and can be bent to size. I've got mine running through the old return pipe for the stock IC (which I no longer have)

bunnings dont sell the pipe by the metre you have to buy the whole role which is about $30 for 20 metres cause i had one on my old car and they wouldnt let me buy by the metre

yeah it sucks i got lucky my mates parents where doing some irrigation at the time and i used that, its 3 inch wide works really well havent put it on the line yet just waiting for my fmic to arrive

hmmm just looking at those pics with the lid off your air filter is very short.

I got a k&n and its quite a bit longer then that i dont think it will fit unless the afm can be put outside the box?

john remove the rev limiter and keep it red lined and see how long it lasts hehehe
