i mounted it down as far as i could drying to leave about 5mm from the pump to the bottom of the tank

thats bizaare.. but guess its a proper intake pump.. unlike the 910 which has the line extension at the end for sitting outside the tank.

thanks though.. dodgy mechanics day will probably give him a hand to try and put it in.
