he was only 6 months old then

antenna is sitting on a small braket i made behind the drivers seat

and hooking it up was a case of getting fuesed switched power to it, ie off the accesories line from the ignition

ok.. the antenna connects straight into the main unit rt?... dun need any power to it?

reason i'm asking is that there a HUGE antenna in my boot (came from japan) and apparently, its hooked up to the rear brake lights for power... strange....

mmm nah the antenna is just a coax cable striaght to the main unit and it has no power on it
