the initial d movies are fantastic. there are 3 stages altogether and couple of dvds for each stage. its about this kid who grew up delivering tofu for his father in his old AE86 aka Hachi Roku. Problem is, the delivery point is on the other side of this huge mountain (something like Nebo) and he has to delivered it on time 365 days a year.

needless to say, he became a 'Hardcore Drift King'
