you'd probably have to go 2nd hand for 17" rims and tyres for only $1500

also try www.nissansilvia.com (silvias got hte same stud pattern as the n/a skylines).. or www.woosecruising.com (boost crusing) - they have plenty of ricers who spend stupid amounts of $ on things such as fancy rims.

have to agree with Gordo on the Falken ZE326 - just had a set put on, they weren't cheap and after last nights run, I reckon the old Nankangs handled better. I think it's mainly due to more flex in the sidewal, coz just by feel I think the Falkens are better under brakes, which makes me think they have more grip, but the roll in the sidewall does not inspire confidence at all and really seems to negatively effect initial turn-in, which in turn means you have to alter the line you were originally taking through the corner.

It could be the fact that I haven't fully scrubbed them in yet, they have done about 400 k's though, but impression so far is that they are shit

told you to get the 451s...heh...anyway heard that we're going to kill ur feline on saturday as well??

I may get shot for saying this, but both Smooth and I are running Simex at the moment and they are one of the best tyres I have used if you are looking for long life. I have had these for almost 30,000 Km and they still have half tread on them.... and you have all seen how I drive, so I think that is great mileage.

They are quite sticky once warmed up, they aren't that crash hot in the wet though.

Not the best for really hard cornering either, as I feel they have a bit too much give in the sidewall.

maybe Smooth can tell us his thoughts
