it would be the same in VIC i'd imagine though, unless it effects them people don't care.

People would rather watch "reality" TV and pretend people for hours on end, and yet stopping to help somebody or actually deal with something that they can't handle is too much for some :(

Sucks but that is society.

i was the first one at the scene of an accident about 2 years ago. It involved a petrol tanker hitting a ford laser head on. the driver in the laser was missing his head and arm. when me and the truck driver saw this we immediately turned white and started spewing up everywhere. he was crying and shaking as you would be. id hate to have been him.

yeah matt had a pretty good night, everyone at work is fighting because the boss is away and I can't see it improving anytime soon. Will have to spend a large chunk of my weekend cleaning but it's all good. If you're round on the weekend I wouldn't mind catching up. Either in Brissy or the GC. Choice is yours. Have a party I'm invited to but don't think I'll go If I have any other offers whatsoever. I'm not the hugest fan of the group that is having the party anyway as they're all boozer socialites who get liquored up and talk the same sh17 every weekend. I've heard it all anyway. They used to be fun. Now they are just tedious :(

oh ok cooL  damn i never want to have to stop for a crash :( after i saw my good mates sister get pulled outta a creek cause her seat belt wouldnt undo :) when it hits close to home it hits ya than many more friends have died :P

when i hit the tree people sitting at the park didnt even come over 100m away they just looked. no one wants to get involved pretty sad in away

James is meant to be getting it back today.

We were sitting at mudgeeraba one night wiating for the second group to come through the roundabouts at robina and we saw this excel come down the onramp (heading north) and then just twitched and lost it. She hit a concrete bit in the medium strip and flipped twice and landed on the side. We all ran across the highway to help her. When we got there, she was trying to put a cd into the cd player. There were arguements as to whether to flip the car or not, but they ended up flipping it. I said we should have left it because it could have caused more damage. Isn't that what your taught about an accident scene? Not to move the person unless they are in very grave danger (ie explosions?) That's what I thought anyway.

As soon as it happened I rang 000 and called ambulance, fire, police. A few otheres did as well. Tow trucks turned up first (as usual) then the cops that turned up were actually going into the servo to kick us out. They reversed DOWN the offramp and back onto the highway. Not one of the smartest moves I've seen by a copper.

Anyway. Cut a long story short. She was drunk. So I wish I didn't help her. Hence why she lost control while trying to put a cd in. She's lucky the car rolled because otherwise she would have taken out cars on the other side of the road.

Drink drivers suck. They don't realise how many people they put at risk by one stupid mistake. I won't even have one drink and then drive. If I know I'm driving, I'll never consume an alcoholic drink. It's just stupid.
