Hey guys i've got a r32 gtst got a 2way coming in the next 2 or 3 week but want to weld my diff now. It's got a viscous lsd in it now can this diff be welded? If so where can I get it done in melbourne in s.e suburbs, or any 1 with a locker that wants to get rid of it or swap. Cheers

Welded diffs are not fine they are very dangerous!! not to mention uneven and two times faster tyre wear, tyre squeal at low speeds (cops will know you if they are behind you) of no benifet on the street. The list goes on.. Do it the proper way hey..

Don't be impatient. Wait 3 weeks for the new diff and do it properly

Welded diffs are evil. (and illegal)

U sure it's a viscous diff?

100% this is my 2nd r32 and in my old one I think it had a n/a skyline diff welded and that coped it all day every day and it held up good, I'm sick of it single some times only

anyone good with a welder should be able to do it. If you need the diff pulled out as well then look in VIC section for workshops and start calling. You will prob be looking at over $500+ so may not be worth it.

i got a weldy its fine kents who dont know how to drive cant handle it.

having said that i wouldnt recommend it for a daily but its certainly do able. as for tyre wear as if you dont get that from been lowered/camber anyway.

a welded diff and an idiot is dangerous

a welded diff and a driver with even half a brain is totally safe

this man speaks the truth.
