I'll put these settings up for your idle etc.

Rev/Idle

Rev limit - 7600rpm

F/C - 1270

F/C - 910

Idle - 870rpm

Idle - 800rpm

With these settings it does'nt hunt at idle and when at normal operating temp it idles sweet as.

Ok here is mine.Fuel table looks shit :Paranoid: and not much timing was put into it :Paranoid:

Looks to be ok mate, overall it seems to be a bit more fuel and a little less timing than the map I currently have, I haven't had a good look at it yet

If I get chance I might default my PFC and write down the default maps and see how differant they are

Once I have my car tuned properly ( I am going to see the guy who is doing the tuning today ) I will post it up for comparison.

Judging by the other thread about the injector compensation, I can either try your fuel and timing map or default it and just use the injection correction function

Just going through everything last night, still on my list is a metal turbo to AFM pipe, and install the Z32 AFM as well

Does yours have a Z32 AFM R31 POWER?

Whats your rev limit Roy? my chipped ECU is 8200, and it has seen it quite a bit!

I reckon 7600 is a pretty safe rev limit, I guess as most RB20's make peak power at around 6500 odd, a lowish rev limit will help with reliability!

I wonder how long it would last at 10,000rpm? I am sure the hydraulic lifters would love that sort of treatment!

Also, just a quick one, does anyone know if the S1 R33 AFM pinouts are the same as R32 GTSt? I am putting on my Z32 AFM as well, but can only find a wiring diagram to suit RB25

Joel used to run a S1 R33 AFM on his carand the AFR's where the same, leading me to believe the wiring diagram for the R33 - Z32 AFM will suit RB20

Any suggestions?

Hahahahahaha Roy i know I'm a little weak :P i might set it to 8000rpm once it has more boost.

Hey Chris this is how I wired my Z32 AFM in.

Wiring for Z32 AFM into R32 GTS-T

Z32 terminals are lettered A Thru to F, total of six terminals of which 5 are used on the Z32 and 4 on the GTS-t.

Working from A upwards as follows:

A: do not use

B: connect to Black wire on GTS-T MAF loom

C: connect to black/silver

D: connect to white

E: connect to black with white tracer

F: do not use.

Im only running 6050 rev limit at the moment until i get the kms up on th engine and im comfortable its a good'n (lol, and only 0.55-0.6 bar:()

My old Jap ECU had 8,000rpm from memory, and the Jap ECu for the std injectors was sky high, over 8,800rpm as i never reached it:)

When its all said and done im going to try and keep it to around 7,750rpm, but will have to wait and see how the cam gears and power delivery goes...surely im only a week away from getting the car sorted

just a quick noob question ... i have GTR injectors to go into my new "to be built" engine .. how much HP/RWKW do GTR 444cc injectors support? anywhere up to 300rwkw? and will they support more if they are backed up with a rising rate fuel reg?

Good stuff, I reckon I will stick to 7600 as my rev limit, as I don't want to kill it with revs. Maybe if I get around to it I might get the head rebuilt on my spare motor and put some cams in and new valve springs etc

The rule of thumb is 444cc injectors in a 6 cylinder = 444 bhp (around 270 rwkw).:P

Put in the injectors, Z32 AFM and PowerFC in on saturday

Big thanks to Roy and R31 POWER, without the info from you both, I would have struggled

The injector removal and installation turned out to be pretty straight forward, with only the GTR injector plugs needing a locating tab to be trimmed to get them to plug in, overall it was no more than a hour to pull the old injectors out and have the new ones in. Best thing was I turned the key and it primed very quickly, and ther was no leaks - YAY!

The resistor wiring took a little longer, mainly due to me being very cautios about which wire I snipped

I took a few pics, but as with everything my digital camera batteries run out. I have pics of the wiring loom though and what colour the injector power wire is etc

After the resistor was wired in, I started it with the stock computer - to my surprise it fired first crank - at least it started, but as expected ran mega rich!

I did this becasue I wanted to make sure - before the PowerFC went in - that it ran, becasue if it didn't there would be to many things I have cahnged to work out what was wrong if it didn't!

Next was the Z32 AFM wiring, which was by far the easiest part of all the wiring

And then the PowerFC install, which was even easier!

It all started no probs, and is as drivable as before with the fuel/inj correction adjusted to suit

Its being booked in today for tuning, so hopefully by the end of the week!

Best of all, it all worked, I didn't drop or loose one bolt (very rare for me!), the only mis-hap was a slightly wayward screw driving finding its way into my index finger while try to prise of a very stubborn injector clip! :)

Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed, without the extensive SAU crew to fire q's at, I would have never got it done

Good to hear Chris.Are you hoping for 300+rwhp?

Yeah, hopefully, but I will be happy as long is it has a decent tune and can be driven hard without leaning out

I made 200rwkw (268rwhp) with the stock injectors and 0.9bar boost, so talking to Shaun at Boostworx, who will be tuning it, he reckons around 18psi or there abouts should see if make some really good power, and there is no reason why is shouldn't be able to run this boost, as the RB20 has lowish comp. ratio and it has a nice fuel setup now, so all the key factors are there to produce good power

Also with the previous tune it was lacking a fair bit of timing through the mid-range, and would come onto boost at around 4-4500rpm depending on load, now it starts to boost just under 3000rpm, so it should have allot more response than before

Hopefully at 1bar for daily duties I can have a responsive 200rwkw and when I want too I can up the boost and have a bit more

Looking forward to getting it all finished!
