I wonder if I have to change to other valves to use Tomei Solid Lifter RB25det or does std valves work with them?

stock valves will work but you will need to run gtr cams or aftermarket cams suited to solid lifters.

You can also get some machine shops to 'convert' your hydraulic head to a solid head.

You dont need to buy this tomei gear if you dont want too.

I got the hydraulic to solid conversion done in house.
