Taking Off The Tie Rod End & Outer Rack End

How do i take this out, do i need to take the whole rack out.

front or back, front there is a sleve around the rack shaft which crimps in to the thread on two sides once you uncrimp this you can then undo outer rack joint using the square section on the ball casing, tie rod end is easy undo spilt pin undo nut to level with end of thread get a piece of wood a hammer and hit the wood with the hammer whilst its against nut
