Alrighty, i can't find any threads that cover this. I got a 86 GXE R31, doesn't have cruise control, obviously, the TI's do however.

How easy is it to put cruise control in my car, if possible, and what are the costs involved? How much for me to do it or how much for my mechanic to do it roughly. And would i be able to use a standard one or would i have to go aftermarket?

Cheers

because then you can simply just walk into any auto parts store and buy a kit. don't have to worry about buying all the little parts that you may require for the stock unit. the aftermarket kits are designed to fit pretty much any car. i've had 2 cars with aftermarket kits, and they both worked reasonably well. one better than the other though.

how much did you pay for your better one installed?

Are they easy to remove?

both were in the car when i bought it. only difference between the 2 was how smooth they engaged when activated them. one was much jerkier than the other and would give a burst of acceleration for a second when you activated it. having a highflowed throttle body though didn't help the situation, but even before that it wasn't as smooth. the actual functioning of each was pretty much the same though. i'm going to get one for the current car some time when i could be bothered (and have the money). also might try and make up a light on the dash for it too
