Just wondering has anyone out there who has converted their Tiptronic R34 GTT to manual, retro fitting manual speedo clocks into the car successfully?

I've taken out my automatic clocks and replaced them with manual R34 GTT clocks and everything works fine except the speedo.

The Power FC hand commander reads the correct speed so the wiring at the gearbox is good. It kinda looks like its more so a wiring issue at the clocks.

The connector blocks plug straight into the manual clocks like they did into the auto clocks, but could the pins on the back of both clocks perhaps be different for manual and auto GTT's thus not giving me a speedo reading?

Any light thrown on the situation appreciated

Owen

I've seen this exact same thing on an auto converted to manual, we neve actually got the answer. The signal was at the connector on the cluster, changing clusters didn't help. I didn't have acess to the car long enough to find out what was the cause.
