Whilst I have my cheque book open, I want to get on my bikes again and get the new benchmark, Ducati Panigale! I miss cracking 30's @ Eastern Creek :(

Now imagine riding this

BTW..... Do you have anything left from the car your wrecking?

My JDM may need a few bits and pieces.

Bob.

I have odds and ends bob, let me know what u need and hopefully I can assist.

Thanks for that........

You don't happen to have the original JDM books or OEM Radio/Cassette player do you?

Looks like the WA Silver car is either sold or off the market.

And.............GTR 500 is back on the market..........

Bob.

I bought this one a couple of weeks ago so now I have the best of all worlds.

ADM to look at and JDM to drive on weedends......

Bob.

They are 2 fine examples of Stock VS Stock / JDM VS ADM.

Are they basically the same? Only difference the "S" Badge / Nissan on the bonnet?

Or are there small / minor details that are different..?

Overall on the car, I mean.

2 girls, 1 bike.

I'd go the girls but the bike would be cheaper in the long run...

I have the JDM Nissan Brochures on PDF, if you like.

GTR V-Spec

GTR V-Spec II

The only difference between the cars is the ADR complianced parts that needed to be changed prior to release.

I've given myself 3 months to complete the JDM and have it at a level that most would consider very good. When I bought it I rated it a 6/10. Its now a bit over 7/10 but when I'm finished, I'd like it to be a bit above an 8. The ADM is a 9/10 in my eyes.

I bought it out of Geelong and drove it home. They were the plates that were on it but it now has NSW plates GT 032.

I too have the PDF and the hard copy version of the R32 brochure. Many Thanks for offering.

What I am looking forward to is having the cars side by side, both 100% stock including exhaust and radios so I can do an ADM/JDM comparison so once and for all everybody can see the exact differences.

Cheers,

Bob.

Awesome Bob!

Sounds like fun what you got planned ahead :)

Oh, now I remember... The rear of the JDM and ADM are different, in light setups.

JDM:

p1020870y.jpg

ADM:

6343951648_5a049f99ff_z.jpg

ADM: Outer tail lights become indicators.

ADM: Indicator lights become reverse lights.

ADM: Original reverse lights removed.

ADM: Number plate holder removed and gap filled in.

Was this to do with the ADR Compliance for local release?

That is correct, it was 1 of many ADR requirements (128 to be exact).

ADM's also have a taillight at the top of the rear window for better brake light visibility.

I see.

Thanks for clarifying.

Also some JDM R32 GTR's also needed the rear window brake light.

As mine came under the SEVS (15 Year Rule) at the time, it needed the rear window brake light.

I don't mind the extra light visibility, as it only does you better and for others.

My JDM also has the high rised stop light (HELLA Brand) but looking at the Compliance documents it was no longer mandatory in 2007.

I see, but I assume you got it anyway for better braking visibility...

I believe it was a requirement back in 2005 when I got my GTR.

Hi Steve........

I too have a spare Aussie (English) version but it's the Japanese version that I would like to put with my recently acquired JDM.

plates GOZILA:

Hi guys,

The above quoted actually has plates GDZILA.

In the register list we have:

24. QLD plates ONBAIL & now replaced with GDZILA, 447kw, T66 low mount setup with roll cage, 18” BBS LM gold wheels

...this is not the same car as what is sitting at CRD, hence NSW plates GDZILA has slipped thru the cracks as it is not on the list.

I will update the list.

63 & counting...with another 3 ADM's we have a list which equates to 2/3 of the ADM market which I think is awesome!!!  :worship:

As a side note: We should look at getting exclusive ADM stickers made up for our rear windscreen - something small. It would have to be a generic sticker though, unless we somehow integrated the build no# on each sticker? Any ideas or thoughts around this (or is it just a plain silly idea that would never take off)? We could base it off a sticker used for other cars & clubs  (like the Ford GT or Torana club maybe?)

Hi Guys,

Here are a few more direct comparisons. I was at Sydney Dragway today and a mate of mine with an ADM parked next to my JDM. I was going to do this comparison with my ADM but having his car there I thought I'd post up a pic or two.

As previously posted, you can see the rear tail light configuration is different.

The ADM gets vinyl sun visors as opposed to the JDM which gets velour covered ones.

Skyline badge on the bonnet vs Nissan badge.

The ADM gets factory fitted 300ZX side blinkers, JDM gets generic Bosch or Mitsubishi blinkers.

ADM gets High/Low dimmer switch, JDM gets fog light switch.

As also stated before, ADM gets Blaupunct/Bosch Auto Flex centre roof aerial.

There are many more changes that I'll document one I guess a chance.

Cheers,

Bob.
