Hey, I was wondering how much it'd cost to paint a bumper, rear or front. Like i've seen cheap modded bumpers on eBay and places like that, but they still need to be primered and painted. Is it hard to find a place that has the specifc paint, like the car's paint has faded a bit and i wanted it matching that.

Also a complete paint job, are there any decent places in NSW that would do it cheap, e.g under 1k?

And lastly I wanted to know about a side vinyl, i wanted a vinyl/decal/graphic along the side of the car, but a really large one, covering the entire side, over the door and front and rear side panels of the car. How much would that set me back? And again, any cheap places in NSW?

Thanks in advance.

any paint panel shop worth there salt will paint match fairly accuratley for you.

a full respray under 1k, unless its a can job or backyardy and your good mates its a NO.. if u do prepwork painting will be cheaper but stil not likely a 1k

the vinyl that'll cost you nothing, i say that cos its super ghey and for your own credibility i dont recommend doing it unless its for business purposes.

having said all that im from melb so maybe stuff is cheaper in nsw... good luck anyways

Alright, forget the paint job i guess. What about painting the bumper/body kit myself at home?

and for the vinyl, i want it across the side of the car, really large.. it'll cover a few paint blemishes too. but yeah, anyone know of a cheap place in NSW for it?

hey man i bought a black front bar for my 32 and resprayed it to match my maroon.. i was actually really suprised how good it looks.. if its the same color as ur car then youl just wana sand it back a bit 180-400

grit then get ur paint code and get somewhr like autobarn to mix u up some spray cans i used about 4... but that was from white and get a couple cans of topcoat clear unless your pretty mch inspecting it youd never tell the difference  hope this helps!

if you don't have a compressor and a spray gun, then the bumper at home is a waste of time. any panel shop will be able to do it for a few hundred bucks and have it matched to your car pretty well. i had 3/4 of the car painted by a mate who's a panel beater and only in certain light at certain angles can you tell the difference, and that is only because the painted panel is sitting right next to an original panel (door to roof) and you can just tell that the roof is more faded, but that will be getting done in the future since the clear is starting to lift in 1 small spot.

I design and produce vinyl graphics for street, track & race cars, and not crappy off the shelf type stuff, this is full custom designed to suit the style of the car and owner...

generally though if your after cheap, it will look cheap... do it once do it right...

The trick is to get as much painted together at the same time as possible - as it would be cheaper for the panel beater to buy paint and do it in one hit.

In general, getting both the front and rear bars painted and fitted would not cost over $1K.

In regard to the stickers or body vinyls as some may call it, I personally suggest you stay away from them, but if you like that sort of look, it would cost around $400 plus labour at some rate to get it done. I wouldn't pay more than $500.

There's nothing wrong with Ebay bodykits, but just make sure you do your research and read the sellers feedback, as you'd get a good feel of how a seller does soon.

Good luck..
