Most likely leaking from there.

But we can't see it so we can't say though it is a little common.

Clean it down and re inspect where it is leaking in few hundred kms or take the cooler pipe off and you will most likely find oil in there.

Hi, I am wondering wt inside Intercooler, is it oil or coolant?? I mean if its coolant, its not make sense oil on it rite?

Someone say that it is the Turbo Leaking the oil which may need to do Turbo reconstruction :P ~anyone experiences that before??Looks like it can cost 2.5k to do tht. :D:dry:

If the oil is from the turbo it would be cheaper & more beneficial (for performance & reliability) to fit a high-flow or aftermarket turbo.

First of all, remove the intercooler pipe & confirm that is the source of your leak then go from there...

does the car blow any smoke? if not then i'd say it's ok. even a perfectly fine turbo will leak a very small amount of oil as it starts to get a bit older. over time this builds up to a point where it may start to leak out. the best thing to do is to pull all the intercooler piping off and give it a clean out. then after a few weeks pull it back off and see how much oil is in there. if there is a decent amount of oil in there then you have a problem. if there is only the tiniest amount then don't bother about it.
