Sun Visors

Yesterday for the first time I noticed, when turning the sun visor down on the D/S, that there was an odd looking stain around where the supporting rod goes thru. Looked at the P/S and its the same. So had a look at the 25G and the visors had exactly the same stains.

The stains are not visible when the visors are up.

Probably somebody "lubricating" them.

yeah mine has stains there too, fairly big as well. I was thinking it was from an old water leak or something

I was thinking is there any connection between the roof rail fixing that gives a path to water ingress. Perhaps someone who has removed and filled their rails could help here.

This is weird. Same same on mine hugh. Havent really noticed but is getting worse over time. If this is the case some auto silicone will be needed when finding the source. Buying new ones will allow it to just reoccur.
