As the description says is it legal to have an older engine in a newer chassis? I always thought it was illegal but maybe they have changed the laws or i had just recieved bad information (though im pretty sure i read it in HPI, well PI now, or some similar mag).

Depends on your state.

Some states i believe no.

Some states, yes as long as pollution gear is fitted.

Some states, yes, you must then run the most current pollution gear and meet emissions for whatever is newer (body or motor).
