Don't understand why you would hold onto Barichello

He's a great guy to have there if you need to train up a young gun.

He also tows the company line, doesn't mind playing second fiddle, and is still quick and importantly, likeable.

Give the old man a break will ya Timmy :D

A mate of mine reckon Senna's a starter, I say not until hell freezes over.

I agree with your mate, would love to see him in a good or even reasonable car

Have you seen the onboard video from those cars, those HRT's are bloody wild!

I'd welcome him there, for sentimental reasons more than being an actual fan.

I just don't think he's a "Superstar", and I don't think he's the guy to make Williams a front runner.

Oh how I'd welcome being proved wrong though!

I thought the rumour was that Senna was off to Lotus. To go with the Renault motors & the new black & gold livery they are supposed to be running.

So Senna in a black & gold Lotus Renault. Hmmm.

Hulkenberg had a decent second half of the season. But Williams need cash as most of their sponsors are ending their contracts this year. They were after the Mexican bloke with all the Telecom money.

Oh and the HRT was probably the worst of the new teams this year. Not that anyone really cared.

Senna is only there because his name. I dont think he has the ability to shine in evern a good car. Plenty of other drivers more worthy, especially Hullk who has sown flashes of pace, when in position raced hard and cleanly...and come along nicely alongside a team mate who is still very quick and no doubt handy at developing a car. Really is a sad time for Williams when they bring in a good young steerer and cant even sell him or trade him....they are a middle field team and there is no technical recruitment, engine deals or sponsors coming on board to suggest that is going to change anytime soon :D

I am interested to see if Petrov retains his seat....he did well in the last race but not sure that will be enough

Maybe. But it is hard to shine in such a bucket of *^%#. Not least if you can't do any testing.

I am not 100% convinced of teh Hulk. His drive at Imola was pretty ordinary, for example. There again look how Rosberg went this year. Much better than his form had suggested. Although his team mate made him look like a genious, so who knows.

Williams looks to be slowly going the same way as Jordan. Lack of results = lack of sponsors = lack of results. Here is hoping they sell enough KERS systems to Porsche to fund the team off their own back.

    • UPDATE: Hi all!  As we are getting towards the end of this thread where I’ll showcase final dyno numbers and graph, I wanted to provide an update. Tao from HyperGear has done an amazing job building the custom divided T3 housing for the G30. Communication was flawless, price was great, and now the housing is estimated to arrive in 7-10 days! Very very pleased. I must add, if someone is looking for an affordable turbo and end up reading this thread, I would recommend HyperGear. Genuine brands are the way to go as their proven reliability, predictable performance, and there’s a plethora of information available for specs, flow, and more. This HyperGear recommendation is based on their excellent communication, dedication, and willingness to listen to their customers. I particularly liked their ability to create custom adaptations tailored to specific needs, which is a HUGE benefit over other brands. And if we consider the HyperGear provided dyno results, it adds reassurance knowing their turbos can compete against genuine brands. Next update will be after the dyno!
    • I've previously seen people post up "dress up bolt kits" for RBs but don't remember seeing them specify the full contents. I can only really suggest you grab the verniers and start measuring, and keep in mind the cam cover and timing cover bolts are both quite specific with a wider unthreaded section where the bushes sit, that will make it hard to get aftermarket replacements which tend to be all thread (set screws) or for longer bolts a flat section with a shorter threaded section at the end
    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
