Good on you for correcting your initial impression of who was at fault.

Then of course drivers would defend their positions, too. I was rather thinking that perhaps it was more like 80-20, or 70-30, me being more responsible for the fault. Either way I felt that for my relationship with the other drivers, and mostly because of the things that I said afterwards, I felt it was important to correct that and apologize for that.
