...I still hate that bloody finger

Even if Gonzo somehow miraculously wins all the remaining rounds this season, Sebby The Tool need only average little better than 6 points per race to take the crown. So expect to see said bloody finger again at least once more this season...

I'd like to think McLaren still have an outside chance at the constructors silverware; Assuming Marky Mark can help us out with a swag of additional DNF's and out-of-the-points finishes :D

Keep thinking that, the 120 odd point lead should be enough given everyone is happy to admit the tool will be towards the pointy end of every race from here on the WCC is as good as in the bag

Forgot how much car was in front of his feet and lost his front wing trying to pass Massa; Then he seemed to think he could maintain 100% pace on the way back to the pits, had a huge lock-up and ran through a gravel trap into a tecpro barrier.

It's the return of the old skool Webz!

wing got stuck under the front of his car as he braked for parabolica. he was already coasting but when he hit the picks for the only real corner the bits of wing folder under the car meaning no steering (hence going straight off)...

he was fking lucking not to get his clock cleaned by liutzi anyway, next man behind webber (rosberg) got the t-bone and webber escaped it by a bees dick.

seb is still a tool. he will never be one of the greats in my mind. he's barely fit to tie schumachers laces in my eyes.

and yeah was good to see the old never give up schuey back in action making hamiltons life hell. not sure what all the whinging about. he was perhaps a bit firm but it wasn't dirty of illegal. he just knows where to put his car at any given moment and doesn't fall for any of hamiltons bullshit.

like brundle said. schuey hasn't bought a dummy in years but he's sure sold a few...

and by that we all take it to mean Shooey 'Mr Omnipotent' ver 1.0, and not the current 'Old man mobile-roadblocker' ver 2.0 that slows peeps down every other weekend

pretty obvious the old bloke would still go alright in a better car. he gave Hamilton a proper lesson in racecraft last night.

Yeah I particularly liked the way he drove him straight off the road. Excellent race craft. Genius in fact.

got no business trying to claim a corner with your front wing alongside a rear wheel... you have to establish yourself alongide before you have any right to the inside line. That's just proper hard racing from Schumacher, and a half-arsed attempt by Hamilton.

MS was pretty hard but fair imo, always covered the inside, and waited until the last minute to get back on the racing line into the corner. Hamilton was never really in a position to pass with his lack of top speed anyway. Button passed the same Schumacher without too much hassle, Hamilton on the other hand couldn't get it done as easy.

Seems Rosso B was disinclined to agree with you; Given he felt the need to broadcast 'Leave room at Ascari' before the stewards handed out a penalty

Old charlie might have had a quiet word to brawn before those msgs were broadcast, who knows. People seem to be coming round to the idea that Vettel is going to be a great driver, but I just can't see it at the moment. He's consistent, has a team built around him and has webber's bad luck to make him look good. But can he be that much better behind the wheel to wrap up the title with what, 5 races to go? Doubt it.

It's going to be another case like schumacher, he had the best team, and the best car, a team-mate who couldn't compete, and no small amount of talent, and the luck/ability to bend the rules to the point that most that remember him remember the driver and the controversy. And that combination lead to great success, but total dominance made it boring for a few years there. Hope we're not seeing the same with vettel. I'd much rather regular rule changes fking with the engineers and mixing things up than an established winner year after year.

I feel the need for an SAU special one-off SebVet 'finger' T-shirt for those attending the 2012 Melbourne GP.

Hard to establish yourself alongside when the bloke infront is constantly moving around in the braking zones and taking "innovative" lines through the corners. Running out of revs half way along the straight probably doesnt help much either.

Wish Schumacher would just go away and let someone with a future have a go. Di Resta maybe?

    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
