100km/h speed limit over the bolte bridge?

What a buch of fags

seriously

don't worry they did the same thing to webber when he drove the harbour bridge in sydney. funnily enough if you time how long it took him to get from pillar to pillar, and then look at how far those pillars are apart you would see he was doing something like 180km/h average. lol. what are they going to do? fine him?

let's not forget this is Victoria. a state about as tolerant of speeding as the average middle-eastern dictator is of reform protests

This. Not to mention that some innocent bloke was killed this week due to two cars drag racing, so the media/cops will be all over him if he does the wrong thing.

Was going to go, but it'll probably be packed tighter than a poofters shit, and not very exciting.

As i'm not going to make it to the F1 this year, I had to get my fix on the weekend by hanging out with Murray Walker to watch the Australian GT race at the clipsal and the had some tequila with Allan Jones at our after party

Murray is a top bloke, we talked about the F1's, his involvement, and how pleased he was that we named our 1 hour night race in his name as he loves the sports cars. Got a bunch of photo's of him with a bottle of our vodka and our staff.

Meanwhile, in Bathurst ...

No limit on Lowndes' F1 lap

He says he's not going to try for a lap record, but how hard would it be in an F1 car? Seriously, wouldn't you?

I hope jenson doesn't bin it as lowndes is going second... hope he has fun. the old boy deserves a little taste of F1... it would be pretty hairy around the top of the mountain I reckon...

excited like a lil kid in a candy store, first ever F1 event!

yeah was awesome!

it was before the festival of speed, they told everyone that they were allowed to do the street run but then it was cancel due to safety then at the last min (like on the day) the cop went ahead and allowed it to run! Was epic seeing a f1 car smash limiter on the street

    • The incentives are mostly the same, yes. Ethanol is cheap compared to the cost of doing 98-100 RON with crude oil alone. 87 to 93-94 AKI all with E10. In 2020 Canada mandated E10 as a part of their "renewable fuel standard" and is supposedly going to go to E15 in 2030. In California where there are only 8 refineries with two threatening to shut down next year it's been over 20 years now of E10 and 91 AKI maximum because there's just not enough refinery capacity or crude oil supply relative to the demand for premium unleaded fuel. And CARB's low carbon fuel standard means functionally none of the diesel available at the pump is made from crude oil anymore. It's almost all entirely 20% biodiesel blended with 80% renewable diesel (hydrotreated vegetable oil) now. The number of gasoline vehicles that support E15 or higher ethanol concentrations is surprisingly low, I can't imagine it being wise to play tricks like this without flex fuel sensors in most of the fleet.
    • It's almost certainly the same as the one next to it. • South Australia, which is hardly as far behind as the rest pf Oz makes out, and who is also not a paragon of progressiveness (read that as over-legislation) in the area of vehicle standards, has this to say on the subject: Adjustable coil-over suspension Aftermarket adjustable coil-over suspension components are suspension units that incorporate an external thread on the main body and corresponding threaded spring saddle that allows the vehicle's suspension height to be varied. If fitting aftermarket or coil-over suspension components you must submit an Application to modify a light motor vehicle form and a report from a light vehicle engineering signatory (LVES).
    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
