I'm looking forward to seeing all these cars and seeing what numbers they run.

I finally got my FMIC installed today so hopefully I won't be completely embarrassed. I'm bloody annoyed though that my ebc hasn't arrived in the post yet so I can get everything tuned up properly. At least it will be interesting to see what just a bigger exhaust and FMIC combo will run over my previous run on the dyno when everything was stock - 105rwkw!! I think the dyno operator said something like "better not let this one get away from ya".

Fingers crossed it's not gonna be too hot - it seems it always is whenever there is a drag, drift or dyno event on!!

doglet, its not just about big power, its about seeing where your car is at, and at the same time, it will provide some valuable info for people looking at doing different mods cos we can all compare on the same dyno on the same day with different levels of mods.

Matt, yeah what T-man said:)

Yeah I know it's not all about big numbers but it'll be nice to see some higher numbers with the bigger amount of cash that has recently been spent! :( Hopefully it won't be like my ex- girlfriend where I ended up getting not much in return after all the money I spent! hehehehe

Looking forward to seeing some R32's with RB20DET's still under the bonnet ;) so I can see where I am heading.

I'll be there mate, nothing wrong with the old RB20's :( No doubting how effective the RB25/30 swap is though, considering it cost similar dollars to build a fresh RB20 or RB25/30, you'd be crazy not to think about doing the swap if your motor died!

Will be good to see some big power cars though, cant wait

Hey matt/steve : do u think shaun would mind if i just had a look at the setting on my cam gear. I have checked them and it seems to be 2-3 notches to the left looking front on.

What does this equate to?

Joel: Do u think the dodgy wastegate mod of urs would work on my car. Im having problems holding any more then 13psi over 5000rpm.

Yer it would work. It takes a bit of fiddling to get right.

When adjusting it, it might be worth pulling all the timing & pumping as much fuel as you can in to it so when you send boost over 15psi for a second it won't damage anything.

I did call it bodgy for a reason though. :(

heheh would i be able to do this. WHat toolz will i need, as i have a huge tool kit, i will just need to by the equipment.

By asjustin the wastgate, will this change to boost pressure, or just allow it to hold better.

Oh oh....

NO saturday for me.. :)

I have to work with my old man.

I really need the money as I havn't bought books for Uni yet.. Instead blowing it on the Motor. As you can see I've got my priority's sorted.. :)

Enrico,

I've got a pic of the wastegate when I pulled it off I'll edit it so you know what it should look like.

basically you just elongate the holes so you can pull the turbo away from the turbo (towards the front of the car).

It reduces the travel of the wastegate actuator so in turn the wastegate flap never fully opens hence boost will hold in the higher rev's.
