hey guys my 32 got stickered the other day and i went to the pits and they said the my front left shock is leaking :) so i was just wondering what the go is with coilovers, are they legal, will they get over the pits? if so what brands are good for around the $1000-$1500 mark?

id replace them with standard shocks, pass pits (after your sure that theres no other defects on the car ofcourse) then bolt on some coilovers once you pass - dont go to the pits with coilovers if you have the choice

sure some people have passed, including me, but i wouldnt risk it again lol ive herd of too many ppl failing because of them lately

True,they wanted tech approval for colies last time I went over pits.

Hey mate, I've got BC Racing coilies on my 34 4 door. Installed them myself no worries and they seem pretty good to me, spring rate is a little soft but good for daily driving..

Yeh but the parts are all changeable, if you want harder spring rates then you can just buy the harder springs :D
