Hey guys,

Im thinking of buying one of those for my weekend "fun" car.

I know that Z is much newer and probably more reliable in sense that its Aus delivered and usually untracked.

Some things that I will/wont do:

Will not wonna mod it (just want a stock quickish car)

Will go for weekend drives as I have a corolla as a daily car

Ive never driven a Z before but have been in a few R34 GTTs... how do they compare when driven? Handling and acceleration wise?

If there is a child forum on here for Zs, please show me.

Thanks

Hrmm if you keep both cars stock I would go the 350z. Otherwise if its modded I would go the R34 GTT.

Stock acceleration times should be similar but handing wise the 350z should be better.

If you don't plan to mod it, then 350Z is a better package straight out of the box. I have a 350GT which is very similar to the Z and they are awesome cars for those weekend mountain runs or lazy cruises...

you might wanna ask those guys at the Z forums for opinions on the Z:

I've had both, I got rid of my 350z 06' track model for my r34 thuogh... and i love the r34 10x more then i ever loved my Z.... The Z is alot more nicer feel cos of the leather and everything about it.. but the r34 is more of an agresive feel since mine has over 200rwkw.. but you sound like more of a 350z person.. Go the 350z but i choose an r34 turbo anyday of the week..

Straight out of the box, 350Z is alot better in everything, except lack of turbo and has two seats.

But if you can find a nice example of R34 GT-T coupe, mildly modded, clean and low kms, maybe it's worth a look.

Or maybe you could consider V35 coupe? :/

Good luck.

Now, bang for your buck; would you buy a 350Z or a 370GT?

All I can say is I got the 370GT sedan with the 7spd box, and its a gem.

Probably cost around the same as a used 350z. There fast and feel upmarket.

Agreed.

370GT (coupe or sedan) are really good-looking cars, both look and performance wise. I would still prefer 370GT coupe to 370Z.

The GT is so rare it turns more eyes than a 335Ci that costs twice more
