they were at zero because i put them on, i know he had the cover off because he thought the valve timing was wrong and he checked it, and it was still laggy with the standard gears, i just don't know what it was left at but i can check, will they make 2000+rpm difference being just a degree or so out?

He did say it was just like the cam timing was out but i did it by the marks and he did it by the marks and counted the number of teeth on the belt, cant realy be anything else out there? if the harmonic balancer had shifted that would make the teeth count uneven?
