Whats This Hose?

does anyone know what this hose does? it has a huge crack in it at the moment and I was wondering if that's anything serious. Cheers

rocker cover breather. Rather then running 2 hoses to your intake pipe they just run inlet cover to exhaust cover to intake pipe if you get what I mean

not sure if it was a pure coincidence or imagination, but mine was cracked too and when i replaced it i noticed a bit of a difference. was about $40 from nissan though. also the coil pack cover was getting spattered in oil, lol.

That's because it would have been a vacuum leak

probs more to do with the fact that it creates a straight path from intake tipe to plenum whilst in vacuum.

if its a minor split you can get away with taping it up as that hose doesnt see boost. but if its properly broken get a new one, doesnt have to be genuine, any bit of rubber hose that size that can bend around will do.
