Another R32 Money Pit

First off back in 2003/2004 I imported my first Gts-t... Was a great little fun car with a RB20 and Apexi turbo making 220 odd rwkw

I then sold that, purchased a R32 GTR (spun a big end bearing about 10 days later) and then begun the process of rebuilding the motor and strapping on a T04Z. Ended up with 430rwkw and the thing was a bullet but I needed to move on with my life and buy a house so I sold it

So I had got my house but was missing all the fun (and annoyance of owing a R32)... I found this Black manual Gts-t (with a shocking white bodykit) for sale one SAU for cheap!

Unfortunatley the reason it was cheap is the owner had fallen asleep at the wheel and caved in the front end, so this is how it got back to my garage (had been partly dodge fixed)...

The car was pretty much stock with a cat back, it needed a fair bit of work and I took the time to do some basic stuff while it was off the road.

Removed all the HICAS lines and pumps etc and fitted a lock bar (saved about 20kgs)

Removed all the air con (saved about 30kg)

Whiteline Castor kit

Whiteline subframe bushes (Pineapples)

Bought some 17" Gtt rims

Fitted factory Type M skirts and pods

The sunroof was stuck open, most the paint was pretty fvcked or had different colour panels so I tried a few DIY paint jobs and failed so I ended up getting it running and taking it down to my mate who is a painter over here in Perth BBK.

Just about ready to leave after putting it all back together!

So I got a little carried away with my suspension, ripped out the parts I had already installed and decided that rose joints pretty much all round should do the trick

All the blue arms are from performance-guru off ebay (from the land of the sheep shaggers)

I did a bit of research about them before I purchased and they are made in Taiwan not China, seem to be very well made and I know some people who are using them in drift cars for a few years now and they are still holing up strong.

Very good top end, very average down low... But that pretty much is every turbo on a RB20!

Got bored with 260rwkw so decided to do a E42.5 mix. 50% BP98 and 50% CSR Sucrogen E85 (we don't have any E85 here on pump in Perth)

Took it to another skid pan day to have a little bit of fun... Excuse the crappy driving I think I had my biggest hangover in history from a big bucks

Took the old girl to Powercruise over here in Perth and had a awesome weekend...

Even managed to knock of my mates R33 GTR with 580rwhp (430rwkw)

...and on the last lap of the weekend did this to 3rd gear in my RB25 box

So after stripping 3rd gear I got a little miffed that I had to punch gears so hard just to keep the little 20 in the power band...

I hatched a plan to chuck a RB25 in the old girl and keep most of the same supporting mods

That didn't go to plan because I was thinking about everything too much so I have ended up with this plan
