If i purchased a stock auto 94 r33 gtst with about 100,000km on da dial and went up against a manual 93 honda integra vtir with a full 3'' exhaust system, air filter, extractors with 180,000km on da dial. i should win right coz i have turbo. dis might sound like a stupid questions but im still new to cars comin from bikes. how would i fare up. would i still rip him or, just, or lose. Newbie needing help.

well u "should" but i wouldnt' think an auto skyline is that great if i were u ... i got one myself ... the loss in power with the auto is too much i think ... but what can u do?? anyways hit the brakes and press the acc and rev it to about 3k just before u let go so u launch at 3k ... anymore and it might be a bit dangerous for the auto trans ... anyways u should beat him .. i doubt u will kill him :)

you'll blow him away

the only n/a that i've seen that it is remotely comparable to even coming near keeping up with my stock 1997 gtst manual is a honda prelude type r, and even that got a fair caning

Isnt a full 3' exhaust to big for a N/A 1.8 or 2.2 ??

and skyline will win

VTEC engines require larger then normal exhaust systems. The H22A redlines about about 7600 from memory and has a lot of exhaust gas that needs removing. If he has extractors, there will be no loss of backpressure.

My trueno for example runs 272 degree cams and has a full 2.5 system which allows it to breath at 9500rpm

A lightly modified Vti-R prelude will run 15.2 easily. 100kw's at the wheels with the H22A is easily acquired.

I think it would be close, turbo or no turbo, the H22A has balls of torque.
