hey all, my R32 has a bad miss in it, sometimes if im just cruising down the highway it will have a slight hesitation but other times it just loose all power and slow right down till the engine cuts out even if my foot is flat, once it has turned its self off it will take ages to start again then will run fine for a while till it does it again, does anyone know what it could be?

bit of a hard one to diagnose , i would be changing the water temp sensor , then the afm then the fuel pressure reg (not at the same time if you want to actually diagnose the prob)

It's sounds like you have an AFM problem, or a vaccum leak.

Try replacing the ignitor. They develop problems with heat when they start getting a bit old.

Sounds as if you have more than one problem if it takes ages to start after it dies.

I'd be checking your battery first as I had the same problem (minus the hard start) with my 32 and it ended up being the battery which was f**ked.

If you load the battery up and its fine it will be either your AFM, ignitor, fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump.
