As the topic suggests, today a 2nd blast tore through the mine, officials and police declared all trapped inside to have perished. Angry at the way this has been handled, coming from an underground background. best wishes are with the families of the great men who perished.

This is a sad day for all the families of those affected and also people in the industrie. It also comes as a big wake up call to all of us that something so tragic can happen so close to home!!

From what i understand the people from both Australia and NZ who were involved with the rescue did there best to get the miners Alive without jeopardizing the lives of others.
