hey all,

had a major major flat spot in my r33 s2 skyline, the only thing that fixed it was turning the cam angle sensor fully clockwise, what causes me to have to fully adjust the cam angle turning??? is it the ecu???

cheers,

rb

Timing belt stretch, tension, worn out drive to the cam sensor, sensor itself, worn keyway on the crank pulley etc will all cause a problem with cam timing. What rpm was the flat spot at? 4500rpm by any chance?

blk94r33 forgot to mention timing belt could have skipped a tooth or 2 can make it run like crap, really need a timing light to confirm the timing is out.. i think 3 teeth out the pistons start bending the valves
