Hi everyone,

I have just put a set of Garrett -7s on the 34 GTR, with HKS boost controller to 1 bar, stock injector/fuel pump/fuel rail, with full WELDINA NE-1 exhaust.

Before doing that the injector is about to maxing out about 1 bar on stock turbo.

My question are:

* Is it safe to drive the car hard for the current mod? (new mod's on the way)

* What is the consequence of maxing out the injectors with a bigger turbo? is it going to damage the engine in any way?

* What happens if I increased the boost to 1.2 bar with stock injectors?

The car is not even on road yet so all these questions are hypothetical. however I would really appreciate if I get some answers.

Thanks.

Maxing out the injectors means that they cannot flow or add any more fuel to compensate for the increased air flow when u turn up the boost so the engine will lean out and guess what.....BANG!!!!

Turn down the boost to 10-11 psi and u "should" be good until an injector AND ecu upgrade

Got pfc. 550cc injectors are on the way. are they big enough for -7?

Also wondering which is more harmful to the engine: too much air or too much fuel?

"Give me your R34 GTR, you don't deserve it." :/

Seriously...

550cc will be good enough for pump...if u have plans to go E85 u might need to go bigger

Too much air with not enough fuel....as in your case

lol we all stay up a bit late...

Bosch 044 + 550cc will be the fuel set up.

E85, is it road legal? i'm not sure just asking...

i was running -7's on my gtr on the stock ecu and stock injectors for quite some time and it was fine, it was tad on the rich side though

good to know snozzle. thanks for the info.
